PPL to Increase Supply Rates

Beginning September 1, 2013, PPL customers will see an increase in their electricity rate. The electricity supply rate will jump from $8.22 cents per kWh to $8.77 cents per kWh. This increase of $0.5 cents means that for the average Pennsylvania customer who uses 1,000 kilowatts of electricity a month, their monthly bill will increase by $5.
