Bounce Energy, a privately-owned and full-service electric company, is parenting with Zoey’s Angels to bring relief to families in need who have experienced the pain of losing an infant. This is the second year the two organizations have teamed up to support this heart-wrenching cause.
During the month of June, the Texas-based retail electricity provider will be making a donation of 50 cents for each new Twitter follower and “Like” the company receives on its Facebook page this month. Aside from social media efforts, Bounce Energy has also provided a one-time donation of $2,500 to Zoey’s Angels.
Zoey’s Angels was founded by the parents and uncle of Zoey “Isadorable” Dockal, after she lost her life following a long struggle and only a short six months with her family. After what they experienced with Zoey, her family started Zoey’s Angels to help bring comfort to families who lose an infant child after a lengthy struggle in the hospital. Zoey’s Angels helps bring financial assistance and practical support to allow families to grieve and heal and honor their children as Zoey’s family was able to do.
Bounce Energy takes part in many charitable campaigns and events throughout the year. Bounce Energy extends its motto of providing more than just electricity to not only its customers, but to the community as well. In the past, Bounce Energy has helped support The Periwinkle Foundation, the American Heart Association, and the March of Dimes, to name a few.
It is honorable to see a retail electricity provider, like Bounce Energy, contribute to such an incredible cause. With the energy market being so vast, there is hope that perhaps other retail electricity providers will follow suite and put their profits to a good cause (whether with Zoey’s Angels or some other non-profit organization in need of funding).
